Florida Remote Online Notary Requirements

Minimum Age: 18
Residency: Remote online notaries in Florida must be legal residents of Florida.
Certifications: To become an online notary in Florida, you must be an actively commissioned Florida notary.
Education: Applicants must complete two hours of state-approved training on remote online notarization laws and procedures.
Bonding and Insurance: Florida requires online notaries to obtain a $25,000 notary bond and an errors and omissions (E&O) insurance policy of at least $25,000.
